As we approach another season of annual Town
The Charlemont Planning Board, to name just one, offers its members interesting discussions directly affecting the developments in town, a collegiate team atmosphere, the opportunity and expectation to learn about laws and regulations, to meet with residents and talk over their proposals, to sit in hearings weighing all evidence and casting their votes, and to think about how the town may want to grow.
Especially if you are retired — doesn’t it offer a new purpose for this phase of your life?
We encourage people to come to Town Hall and inquire how to get on our Planning Board or any Board in your town. Come on, be a mover and shaker.
