Scholarships: The Franklin County Bar Association Community Fund will award two Thomas W. Merrigan Memorial Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to deserving high school students in Franklin County. The scholarships will be announced during the Law Day celebrations on May 1. To qualify for the scholarship award, an applicant must be a Franklin County resident, a senior in high school and in pursuit of post-secondary education of any kind. The application has been sent to all area schools and is available on the FCBA website, franklincountybar.org, or by emailing fcbar2@franklincountybar.org. The deadline for submissions is April 1.
