Brandon L. Batiste, 32, of Spring Street, Chicopee. Charge of fugitive from justice on a court warrant, in Deerfield by State Police from the Shelburne barracks. Bail set at $50,000 cash or $500,000 surety. Assistant District Attorney Shawn McLean states the commonwealth is unwilling to further prosecute Batiste because he was taken into custody in Vermont.
Olga S. Pirozhkov, 29, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Charges of two counts of defacing property, threatening to commit a crime, assault and battery on a police officer, and assault and battery on a person age 60 or over or disabled, by Greenfield Police. Joshua J. Girard, 30, of Caldwell Road, Northfield. Charges of OUI-liquor over .08 percent and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Admission to sufficient facts accepted and sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until Dec. 24, 2020, with OUI victims assessment of $50, head injury assessment of $250 and 45 days loss of license. Must complete the Driver Alcohol Education Program, and must not have alcohol, with screenings. Found not responsible on charges of a marked lanes violation and driving at a rate of speed exceeding the posted limit. The probation supervision fee is $50 monthly, as needed.
