He has declared himself “the chosen one.” He has boasted that “stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody” and not “lose any voters.” Clearly he can lie, cheat, bully, smear and get away with it!
He has converted the honorable elected position of president of the United States to that of a dictator or king. His idols and role models are Putin and Kim.
Our own security departments, along with top generals have declared Putin to be the number one public enemy of the United States. Putin knows that he only has to pat Trump on the nose and Trump will wag his tail.
Our experts have declared that Russia had tried to alter our elections in 2016. Putin says “no way.” It was the Ukraine. So Trump agrees. Asked how do you know this? Trump response: cause Putin told me! OMG!
I agree that the economy has been good, and maybe Trump can get some credit for this, but the economy is not a forgiveness for bad behavior! It seems quite clear to me what Trump’s intentions were, on this phone call with the new Ukrainian president, was nothing less than extortion. This is abuse of power.
The “Contempt of Congress” charge is blatantly obvious. Yet, the Republican Congress is afraid of Trump or ignorant to the facts.
This is where responsible Americans have to step up to the plate. It shouldn’t matter if you are a Democrat, Republican or Independent. This is a crucial time in our history where democracy and the Constitution are at risk. If Trump is not discharged from his position in the trial or is re-elected to another term and we re-elect the same members of Congress, then it is the same as treason to our Constitution. Exercise your rights while you still have them!
