12:03 a.m. — Caller on Chapman Street reports his tires have been slashed. Observed three tires deflated. Reporting party believes a former significant other was involved. Video surveillance was requested.

1:37 p.m. — Caller on Wells Street reporting two packages stolen after being delivered. Two small eBay packages over the past two weeks. USPS dropped outside of door in hallway. Post Office notified not to deliver at hallway.

1:59 p.m. — Caller on Hope Street reports she lost her black purse with a light pink bow on it, containing cash and her daughter’s cellphone, as well as a pair of running shoes in a side compartment. Lost somewhere on the sidewalk this morning.

5:23 p.m. — Reporting party at Greenfield Acres reports two to three men, in unknown clothing, going door to door claiming to be with the electric company. Possibly on third or fourth floor.

5:37 p.m. — Reporting party on Pray Drive reports his belongings were in storage while his apartment was rehabilitated and he has now found his printed criminal history, Social Security card and birth certificate missing. He will contact the property manager in the morning.

Montague, Dec. 26

3:35 p.m. — Reporting party at The Alvah Stone reporting disturbance by male employee, intoxicated, using racial slurs, threatening staff via text messages including threats to rape and kill the owner. Man left the building, believed to be walking to his vehicle parked on Old Greenfield Road in front of the business — red car, unknown make/model. Caller advised no known weapons but stated employee is a cook there so he may have cooking knives with him. Vehicle believed to be equipped with ignition interlock device. Kevin F. Daley, 35, of Cannon Street, Windsor Locks, Conn., was arrested for disturbing the peace, threatening to commit a crime and a civil rights violation.

5:28 p.m. — Request for assistance with man in Family Dollar on Avenue A who has dropped several packets or bundles of heroin and appears to be high. Reporting party was alerted to this by a customer who stated she was an addiction counselor. Charles Henry Waryasz III, 45, of Turnpike Road, Montague, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug.
