The Community Clothes Closet at 83 Foundry Village Road will be open every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. until winter. Residents of all towns are welcome. Clothes are free and suit all ages. Greenfield

A Veteran’s Dance at the Greenfield Elks Club, corner of Federal and Church streets, will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. This event is to help assist the weekly Veteran’s Luncheon that is served every Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person and include a buffet and dancing to music by The 60s Experience.

Orange

The Cellar Closet at Central Congregational Church of Orange, 95 South Main St., will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers have been accepting and arranging clothing for women, men and children, along with jewelry and accessories, shoes and household items. Turners Falls

Collage Making with Nila Patterson will take place Saturday from 9:15 to 11:45 a.m. at Greenfield Savings Bank, 282 Avenue A. All are invited to make a personalized, unique collage. Feel free to bring multimedia types of materials such as old calendar photos, magazines, family photographs, wall paper patterns, etc. While some supplies will be available, it would be best to scout out some treasures in your own home. Franklin Area Survival Center: 96 4th St., 413-863-9549. The thrift store, which is open to the public and helps finance the food pantry, is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The food pantry is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In an emergency, such as a fire or flood, the center will supply needed clothing, linens and food to help the disaster victims.

Warwick

Vendors are sought for the Holiday Fair at Warwick Community School on Saturday, Nov. 30. The fair benefits the school Parent-Teacher Organization and the Trinitarian Congregational Church. Artisans, practitioners, and sellers of preserved or fresh foods, holiday gifts and more are welcome. Table space ranges from $8 to $20. “Event Horizon” will be shown Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Wendell Free Library. In the year 2047, a group of astronauts are sent to investigate and salvage the long lost starship “Event Horizon.” The ship disappeared seven years
earlier on its maiden voyage, and with its return comes even more mystery as the crew discover the real truth behind its disappearance. An episode of “Fireball XL5” will be shown before the movie.
