Brickett Allis is in the prime of his life with his finger on the pulse of what Greenfield truly needs to thrive. After spending the last 19 years serving the city of Greenfield, he is both mentally and emotionally prepared to serve as our next mayor.
Brickett will bring experience and maturity to the job. He is the only candidate that has served as president, vice president and chairman of every sub-committee (except one) on the City Council, most importantly serving on the Ways and Means Committee. He is the only candidate that has served on the Zoning Board of Appeals, Charter Review Committee, and the Capital Improvement Working Committee.
His unmatched background is what Greenfield needs to move forward even if that means difficult decisions are to be made. Brickett has said from the beginning that he will put the needs of Greenfield ahead of its wants. This is a budgetary necessity and as mayor he will make the tough calls we need.
Brickett also will not make empty promises. If you don’t believe me believe in his own words… “I cannot promise to lower taxes but as your next mayor I promise I will never stop trying to stabilize taxation, and your tax bills, through real prioritization, planning and fiscal restraint. I will safeguard and treat your hard-earned money as I would my own.”
We need a mayor who will not say things just to get elected, and then just wind up with the same old thing we’ve had for the last several years. It’s time for a change. It’s time for Greenfield to have honesty, integrity and transparency back. On Nov. 5, write in Brickett Allis, 300 Wells St. and color in the corresponding circle next to his name.
