American Cancer Society Benefit Ham Dinner: A public ham dinner will be served Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Mary Lyon Church. The dinner will feature ham, scalloped potatoes, butternut squash, peas, cabbage salad, homemade rolls, apple crisp with ice cream, cider and coffee. The dinner will be prepared and served by the Willis Family Team, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. Cost is $12, $6 for ages 6 to 12 and under 6 free. The Colrain Historical Society has captured 12 of the vivid paintings from the “Colrain on Canvas” exhibition last spring in a 2020 calendar, which is available for $15 at the following outlets: Marty’s Repair, Catamount Country Store, the Colrain Town Office, Hager’s Farm Market, the Colrain Post Office and Pine Hill Orchards in Colrain; as well as Sawyer Newsroom Co. and Boswell’s Books in Shelburne Falls.

Mohawk Trail Concerts will present the first of its three-concert winter series at the Arms Library in Shelburne Falls on Friday at noon. Duo Silvio will perform lute duets from the time of J.S. Bach. The concert is free and open to the public. Duo Silvio is Richard Stone and Cameron Welke, lutes, from Philadelphia and Baltimore, respectively. Stone is a native of Greenfield. He is the founding director of the highly acclaimed Tempesta di Mare baroque ensemble based in Philadelphia. Welke is one of his doctoral students. Seating is limited.
