“Like” Screening: Learn about the effects of social media on our brains, our lives and our culture on Thursday. The movie starts at 7:10 p.m. at the Greenfield High School auditorium and will run for approximately 50 minutes. This is a movie recommended to parents, teachers, and others raising or educating youth. “Like” cannot be found online, but the trailer is available at TheLikeMovie.com.

Downtown Trick-or-Treat and Rag Shag Parade: Thursday, Oct. 31, for trick-or-treating from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The Recreation Department will hand out free reflective bags on the Greenfield Common. Stick around to march in the Rag Shag Parade starting at 5:30 at the Mohawk Mall and ending at Energy Park, with costume judging and prizes. Costume contest categories include Best Homemade, Most Original, Best Cartoon Character, Scariest, Cutest, Adult Open Category and Group/Family Category.
