GREENFIELD — Commuters should expect delays on Tuesday, due to closures of the on and off-ramps at Exit 26 and Exit 27.
According to a Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) press release, the closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Detour routes will be in place during the temporary ramp closures. There will also be single lane closures on Interstate 91 northbound and southbound.
The closures will allow crews to safely place pavement markings, the release states. Signs and police details will help guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
