The Greenfield City Council could not even get a quorum to set the tax rate recently (The process is all in Mass. General Laws; the council had plenty of notice) for which the city council torched and burned the Greenfield taxpayers for $500,000, which tells me the city council cannot handle basic elementary fiduciary matters.
With that said, how in the world can we trust them to build a library and fire station with our tax dollars?
Frankly, the city council and mayor’s office is in over their heads. I honestly believe the municipal leaders cannot handle the pressure of local government. It’s way too much for them.
I know I don’t trust them. And neither should each and every one of you reading this.
If you think I am crazy, I suggest look at the financial disaster in Orange. I say we are next to follow, make no mistake.
