6:48 a.m. — Caller states that while she slept in her living room last night, someone opened her bedroom window and screen. Nothing seems to be missing. Reporting party states that her neighbor told her that she had something similar happen. Screen opened during the night, but the window is closed.
12:56 p.m. — Caller on New Athol Road advises a subject left the store in a white Toyota truck with a cap on the back heading eastbound on East Main Street and did not pay for $300 worth of merchandise.
2:11 p.m. — Man called into the station reporting vandalism to his vehicle over the weekend. Reporting party believes his car got “keyed” on Depot Street on Sunday night. Police responded to the area to check if any camera is installed. No cameras face the parking lot. Under investigation.
10:09 p.m. — Two bobcats are circling around the bleachers while the caller and her friend are sitting at the top — claims they can’t get down and are afraid. Courtesy transport provided.
2:54 p.m. — Caller on Federal Street believes she recognized her assailant from a previous incident. Described as having short hair, white tank top, earbuds, muscular, backpack, 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11. Seen in the area of the church on Federal Street. Unable to locate.
6:59 p.m. — Report of malicious destruction to property at 76 Aster Court. Officer to investigate. Vehicle was keyed. Two people served with eviction paperwork around 3:30 p.m. Reporting party left around 4 p.m. and came back to find her car keyed, stating it was because she assisted Leyden Woods management with evicting those two people. Police attempted to speak with one, who escalated his behavior immediately and began attempting to pick a fight. Advised of consequences if the behavior continues toward the reporting party.
9:45 a.m. — Received a hold-up alarm at Dollar General at 10 Colrain Road. Found to be a security company setting the alarm off on purpose without first notifying police.
12:53 p.m. — Report of three male teenagers creating a disturbance outside the Brick House Community Resource Center. One of the teens or one of their friends reportedly lit a cup on fire on the stairs, which has since been extinguished. Units spoke with staff at the center.
9:27 p.m. — Caller reporting their car is on fire on Montague City Road. Reporting party stated no one is in the vehicle. Turners Falls Fire Department advised and responding. Staff Sgt. Leon Laster requests Rau’s. Rau’s contacted and is responding. No injuries. Fire was under control within 20 minutes.
12:41 a.m. — Richard Thomas Boutelle, 32, of Greenfield was arrested on Federal Street for an uninspected motor vehicle, motor vehicle lights violation, operating under the influence of alcohol and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
8:38 a.m. — Kevin M. Bonfilio, 51, of Wendell, was arrested at Fitzgerald Real Estate, 116 Federal St., for breaking and entering during nighttime for a felony, malicious destruction of property under $1,200 and larceny under $1,200.
