I am looking for details on a house fire in Deerfield between 2006 and 2018. It is the childhood home of my father, John Flower that my siblings and cousins fondly remember visiting while growing up. We found out last summer that it has burned to the ground, and my initial efforts to find out more about how and when it happened have come up empty.

Some family members are visiting the area soon and would like to know more about the circumstances surrounding the house fire. The last time we were there was in 2006, and the house was for sale. We never knew what happened to it until one of us passed through Deerfield last summer and saw that it was gone. It was a beautiful, two-story home on a bluff overlooking fields below. We never used a street name to send letters to my grandmother, Kelsey Flower, but one of us remembers something about it being on Taylor Street. The Abercrombie family lived next door.

If anyone has information and can fill in the blanks for us, we would be so appreciative. You can reach me at: kelseyflower@sbcglobal.net.
