All Souls Unitarian Church on Main Street in Greenfield will host a viewing party and subsequent discussion about a documentary filmed in Venezuela.
The film, “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised,” is an on-the-scene documentary of the failed 2002 coup attempt in Venezuela. It was made by an Irish film crew that was inside the Venezuelan presidential palace as the events unfolded. The film illuminates the similarities between the events of 2002 and those today.
There is no charge to the event and all are welcome. Doors open at 6 p.m. Following the film, there will be a discussion led by Hector Figarella and Liz Kelner. Light refreshments will be provided. It is sponsored by Western Mass Venezuela Solidarity Coalition.
