GSB Investments and Insurance welcomes new advisor

GREENFIELD — Mark Zacek has joined the team at Greenfield Savings Bank Investments and Insurance as a financial advisor, Infinex Investments, Inc.

According to a GSB press release, Zacek will help clients with a wide range of financial services and investments including retirement and financial planning, mutual funds, tax deferred annuities, life insurance, long-term care insurance, college savings planning and IRA rollovers.

“Mark’s experience in helping clients achieve their financial goals has already made him an important addition to the GSB team,” said Steve Hamlin, GSB’s senior vice president and senior trust officer. “We are especially pleased that Mark has joined the GSB Investments and Insurance department at a time when there is growing demand for our services, particularly as we expand further into Hampshire County and beyond.”

Zacek grew up in Missoula, Mont. and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Montana State University. He lives with his wife, Laurie, and their five children in Amherst.

Greenfield Bancorp announces new corporators

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Cooperative Bank and its parent company, Greenfield Bancorp MHC, have announced the parent company’s new corporators, who were elected during the company’s 114th annual meeting in Deerfield on Tuesday.

The new corporators are:

■Jennifer Papageorge of Easthampton, who is director of development for the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts.

■Ann C. Dillon of Greenfield, the chief financial officer of Stevens and Associates Architects in Brattleboro, Vt.

■Jeffrey I. Fialky of Longmeadow, a shareholder in the firm of Bacon Wilson PC with offices in Amherst, Northampton, Westfield, Hadley and Springfield.

■and Yves Salomon-Fernández of Greenfield, president of Greenfield Community College.

The following incumbents were re-elected as corporators:

■William A. Dufraine of Greenfield.

■Michael Tucker, president and CEO of Greenfield Cooperative Bank.

■and Attorney Robert Carey, shareholder in the firm of Carey, Curtiss, Gates & Goodridge LLP.

Additionally, the following incumbents were re-elected to three-year terms as directors of the bank and Greenfield Bancorp MHC.
