WHATELY — There were no contested races in Whately’s election Tuesday, and all candidates won office handily.

The following candidates were on the ballot:

■Richard Smith, re-elected to a one-year position as town moderator, with 90 votes

■Jonathan Edwards, re-elected to a three-year position on the Selectboard, with 70 votes

■Lynn Sibley, re-elected to a three-year term as town clerk, with 89 votes

■Katie Edwards, re-elected to a three-year term on the School Committee, with 83 votes

■Cathleen Grady, elected to a three-year term as an assessor, with 83 votes

■Robert Smith, re-elected to a three-year term as a library trustee, with 84 votes

■Neal Abraham, elected to a three-year term on the Cemetery Commission, with 84 votes

■Michael Archbald, re-elected to the Board of Health for a three-year term, with 82 votes

■George Bucala Jr., re-elected to the Water Commission for a three-year term, with 84 votes

■Adelia A. Bardwell, re-elected as an elector under Oliver Smith Will, with 87 votes

■Edwin M. Zaniewski, 87 votes, and Thomas J. Mahar, 86 votes, re-elected to three-year seats as constables

There was no candidate for a one-year seat on the Board of Health. Rebecca Jones won the seat with 17 write-in votes.
