MacKenzie Paulin did it all, Tuesday night.

The Camelot Carpet Cleaners star tossed a no-hitter, striking out 12 batters, and smacked an inside-the-park grand slam to help her team to an 18-0 victory over Freedom Credit Union in opening-night action in the Greenfield Girls Softball League Ponytail Division at Murphy Park.

Paulin finished with two hits, as did Kelly Baird, Mackensie Goncalves and Anya Livingstone. Rachel Wood, Taylor Menard and Emily Sadlowski also nothced hits in the win. 

Freedom received solid performances in the pitching circle from Skylei Lapan and Maddie Dietz.

• Elsewhere, Markie Vachula-Curtis was one of three players to smack three hits, and the Purple Panthers opened their 2019 campaign with a 7-0 victory over Lundgren Honda in Lil’ Nippers Division play, Tuesday.

Chloe Bigelow and Rosa Sanborn also registered three hits in the victory for the Panthers.

Libby Amstein and Abigail Moffatt had two hits apiece for Lundgren, while Madison Ross played well defensively.
