Ronald and Deborah Stempel of Greenfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashli, to James Rae Jr., both of Greenfield.
James is the son of James and Theresa Rae of Buckland.
Ashli is employed at Year Up in Boston and is a city councilor at-large for the City of Greenfield. She is a graduate of Northeastern University.
James is employed at Pan Am Railways in Deerfield.
The couple got engaged on Lake Como in Italy. A September wedding is planned.
