2:14 p.m. – Hit-and-run accident reported at Community Action Youth Programs at 154 Federal St.
1:24 p.m. – Person walked into the station and said she was told to stop by with a dead bird so it could be tested for West Nile virus. Animal control officer was called and advised the person needed to bring the bird to the Board of Health. Call was placed to Board of Health, with no answer.
5:48 p.m. – Report of eight or nine goats in the road near Mark’s Auto. Goats were guided back to pasture.
9:45 p.m. – Pedestrian struck by vehicle near Cumberland Farms on Federal Street. Transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
11:09 p.m. – Report of an unwanted person at Greenfield Moose Lodge #997 at 20 School St. Caller reports there is an intoxicated man in his mid-20s. Caller wants man sent on his way. Officers arrived to transport male to station to await a sober ride. Man became belligerent and attacked officers. Man taken into custody with a laceration to his eye. Taser deployed. AMR ambulance requested for transport to Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Jasen M. Woodworth, 30, of 75 School St., Greenfield, arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer. Bail set at $1,000, plus fee.
12:25 a.m. – Walk-in reports incident at Friendly’s at 200 Mohawk Trail, where she works, earlier in the night. Woman says coworker slapped her in the face at roughly 10:30 p.m. Witnessed by on-shift manager and three other employees. Woman states the slap caused a split of the wisdom teeth stitches she received on the right side of her mouth Monday. No visible marks observed and no bleeding reported. No need for medical attention. Shift manager called general manager, who sent assaulter home. Walk-in advised of options and process for pursuing charges in court.
7:50 a.m. – Caller reports beaver holding up traffic on Colrain Road. Gone on arrival.
11:18 a.m. – Caller who lives in a building on Third Street reports larceny of packages that were supposed to be delivered to him. Other residents have had packages stolen as well.
