GREENFIELD — A video teaching from Thomas Keating will be shown at Second Congregational Church on the Common on Saturday, March 2, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The video was made by Robert A. Jonas when Father Keating visited Franklin County in May 2009 to address the students at his alma mater, Deerfield Academy, and the general public at Second Church at the request of his friend, Armand Proulx. This video was made at the church and runs about one hour and 45 minutes.

ORANGE — The First Universalist Church of Orange presents The Terryriffics Saturday, March 2, at 7 p.m. The Terryriffics perform rock, jazz, blues, country and pop music from the ’60s through present-day, as well as original arrangements. DEERFIELD — “The Brick Church” music series at The First Church of Deerfield, 71 Old Main St., will present Dr. Thomas Pousont in an organ concert on Sunday, March 3, at 3 p.m. Pousont is well-known in the area, having served several churches as their organist. He currently is director of music and organist at The First Church of Deerfield. His program will include music by Bach, Mendelssohn and more. We will watch the movie “The War Room,” followed by instruction and discussion. A light luncheon will be served and then there will be an opportunity for you to create your own personal “Prayer Binder.” As a closing, we will put our Prayer Binders into action.
