SHELBURNE — The town is seeking bids from construction companies for improvements to the road and parking lot at Deerfield Avenue.
The project includes upgrading drainage and lighting, constructing a concrete sidewalk, as well as paving and grading. The construction work is estimated to cost $393,000. It will be funded by a Community Development Block Grant that was awarded to Shelburne by the state.
“We’ve systematically worked our way through the main roads, and we’ve gotten to Deerfield Avenue,” Selectboard Chair Robert Manners said Wednesday.
Bids will be accepted until 1 p.m. on Feb. 20.
