Instead of pushing library project through, let whole city decide

I agree with Verne Sund’s views on the proposed new library. Greenfield already is in the top 10 tax rates in Massachusetts. There’s no reason to push through a project with so many uncertainties. Let’s tighten the belt on spending for the benefit of Greenfield taxpayers. Put the new library project on a non binding referendum at the next election and let the whole city have a voice in its outcome, rather than a select few.
