We have imagined the benefits of a new library for Greenfield! We can see it! This is something we want for ourselves and for all the readers, listeners, writers, and watchers, young and old, in town. We were confused about how to make a donation and do our part in making this happen. Today we were gently pointed to the word “FOUNDATION” on the Greenfield Library website:

Those Foundation pages told us how to make a pledge. The payment of this pledge can be dependent on the town’s acceptance of the state grant. A pledge can be paid over a period of one to five years. We know some substantial pledges have already come in and we have now made ours.
I hope others will make their pledges soon.
