Dangerous road condition in Deerfield needs to be fixed

I fell compelled to bring to your attention what I perceive as a very dangerous condition on Lower Road in Deerfield at just south of 308 Lower Road, on the east side of the road and across the road, from 305 Lower Road on the other side of the ravine.

Why hasn’t the Deerfield Highway Department has not put up a metal guardrail to prevent someone from going off the road and down into this deep ravine while traveling south or going down into the ravine in the course of traveling north, as this ravine is on a corner of the road? We are about to have more serious jeopardy soon with winter conditions. I believe it is nothing more than providence that a serious accident hasn’t happened here before now.

Not too long ago the highway department did install metal guardrails along this road in three other locations. But I think they were in error not to have put one where I have described. I  travel this road sometimes as many as three time a day and am watchful when passing this off to the east side of the road so to prevent at the very least some nighttime youthful driver from going too fast and skidding off the highway on this curve.
