GREENFIELD – Looking for a new job, or help with your job-hunting skills?
The Greenfield Recorder and Greenfield Community College are hosting their first annual “Now Hiring Job Expo,” on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at GCC’s Cohn Family Dining Common.
At least 35 area businesses, industries, ski areas, social agencies and health care organizations will be there with career opportunities in accounting, dentistry, food service, medicine, education and manufacturing. The job positions range from entry-level to management-level.
Along with the chance to meet potential employers, participants may bring their resumes to the Franklin County Career Center booth for on-site advice. There will also be two workshops: one on internships and another on resume and cover-letter review.
Among the approximately three dozen participating companies are: Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Baystate Health, Greenfield and Mohawk Trail schools, GCC, Berkshire East Ski Resort, Community Action Pioneer Valley, Judd Wire, Behavioral Health Network, Community Health Center of Franklin County, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, Franklin County Career Center.
