9:05 p.m. — A Silver Street resident heard strange metal sounds coming from his home and thought a bear may be tearing some of the home apart. A few cub bears were seen eating off of a bird feeder in the yard across the street. Cubs and the bear were gone by the police arrived.
12:18 p.m. — A report of a larceny at the YMCA on Main Street.
2:40 p.m. — The driver’s side window of a Toyota Corolla on Conway Street was smashed.
8:09 p.m. — Mercedes A. Strohman, 28, of Armory Street was arrested at or around her home.
8:43 p.m. — Jacqueline J. Wilson, 40, of Conway Street was arrested on a warrant at or around her home.
9:13 p.m. — Holly Boisvert, 47, of Harrison Avenue was arrested on a warrant at or around her home.
6:21 p.m. — A male reported someone stole two propane tanks and regulators off of his camper parked on Beacon Street.
9:26 a.m. — Robert T. Lowell III, 53, of North Adams was arrested on a warrant at Main and Miles streets.
6:10 p.m. — A suspected overdose at a Water Street home.
2:06 p.m. — A report of an overdose at or around the Franklin Recovery Center.
6:45 p.m. — A Davis Street resident reported seeing a bear in her backyard eating her bird seed.
8:07 p.m. — John M. Gallison, 60, of Juniper Court was arrested on a warrant at or around his home.
10:13 p.m. — Lucky Malachi Smalls, 41, of Armory Street was arrested on a charge of protective custody after a report of an unwanted person on Washington Street.
8:38 a.m. — A propane tank was reported stolen from Grove Street.
12:11 p.m. — Fabian D. Pizzaro, 23, of Pond Street was arrested on a warrant at or around his home.
4:52 p.m. — Seth J. Symmes, 31, of Upper Road in Deerfield was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and an unregistered motor vehicle.
11:03 a.m. — Evan J. Morgan, 31, of Fourth Street in Turners Falls was arrested on a warrant at or around the Rite Aid on Main Street.
3:51 p.m. — A hypodermic needle was found at or around Adam & Eve on Main Street.
5 p.m. — A bear was reported walking around eating bird feeders on Davis Street.
5:33 p.m. — A woman reported her dog was attacked by a small, black pit bull at the Green River Park.
2:51 p.m. — A report of a missing person from the Victory House on Conway Street.
3:03 p.m. — Eric R. Waite, 54, of Osgood Street was arrested and charged with a second offense of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to keep right for an oncoming motor vehicle. Waite was involved in a two-car crash around Davis and Norwood streets, where police deemed he was driving under the influence and took too wife of a turn at the intersection, striking a car stopped at the stop sign.
