GREENFIELD — Pam Fitzpatrick has been hired as the new Salasin Project director.

She began her job Monday.

The Salasin Project, according to its website, “provides a safe, family-friendly environment… and opportunities for support and connection in a nonjudgmental, stigma-free environment.”

Fitzpatrick has her master’s degree from Hunter College School of Social Work and later received her Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

Previously, Fitzpatrick worked as a director in a nonprofit agency that “(partnered) with families to have a voice and decide on the best services to meet their needs,” in addition to years of experience in the social work field, according to a press release.

Fitzpatrick declined to comment at this time about her new job.
