I’m asking all veterans to vote for Helen O’Gorman for Selectboard. She’s been a great supporter of our veterans.
When Veterans of Foreign Wars had an article on annual town warrant asking for support from the town of Buckland — in accordance with the General Laws of Massachusetts Chapter 40, section 9, for $10,000 for repair and maintenance of our Post Headquarters — Helen showed up and cast a vote for us, a vote we won on Town Meeting floor but lost when nine elected members of town government at the head table voted against us.
I’m quite sure none were veterans. We lost by five votes. Helen was there and supported us. She can win this race if our wonderful veterans will get their families, friends, neighbors out and cast a vote for her, something our town needs.
