Bill Brown and Ray Godin posted plus-5 point quotas, tying for first place in the Knights of Columbus League played Wednesday night at Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club in Turners Falls.
Jeremy Roussel was third overall with a plus-4 quota.
Drew Powell was closest to the pin on No. 7, landing his approach to 4 feet, 4 inches. Ron Lenois Jr. was closest on No. 9 at 21-6.
Thomas Ladies
A plus-10 point quota from Hilda Worden topped the field at Wednesday’s Thomas Memorial Ladies League.
Cynthia Marchand was right behind with a plus-9 quota.
Marilyn Kostanski shot 43 to earn low gross honors. Jenn Murphy was closest to the pin on No. 8 (18 feet), and Robin Hartnett posted the longest drive on No. 5.
Timmons League
On the strength of a 32, the team of Jesse Putnam and Andy Lesenski captured the low gross at the Timmons League played Wednesday at Northfield Golf Course.
Bob Perlman and Jeff Austin were the low net winners with a 26.
Norm LaCoy and Ray Kendrick took second with a gross of 38, and Keegan Herringshaw and Kyle Matteson were runners-up in low net with a 28.
Lesenski was the match medalist with a 32, followed by Perlman with a 38.
Mike McGrath had the closest to the pin on No. 6 at 10-1. Norm LaCoy was closest on No. 7 (11-4).
CCG Scratch League
The team of Jason Kelton and Patrick McGuire finished atop the final standings from the Blue Tee Flight for the Country Club of Greenfield’s Scratch League.
Garrett Cousineau and Chris Bourbeau finished second, followed by Nate Burdick and John Wilkes in third.
In the Upper White Tee Flight, Jason Yuryan and Josh Harker took first place, followed by Chris Varley and Clint McCloud in second, and Mike Duclos and Matt Bete in third.
In the Lower White Tee Flight, Patrick Varner and Mitchel Parker finished first. Dave Mota and Mike Hall were second, while Casey Fahey and Jeff Collura nabbed third.
Race Against Child Abuse 5K
Registration is underway for the the second annual Race Against Child Abuse 5K.
