Ben Ruddock scattered six hits over seven shutout innings and Teddy Bear Pools defeated DiFranco Realty, 5-0, in a Tri-County League amateur baseball game Friday night at Valiton Field in South Deerfield.

Ruddock struck out six and did not walk a batter to lead Teddy Bear (6-3) to its fourth consecutive win.

Seth Leslie paced the offense as he went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs. Chris Williams went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Brad Bean went 2-for-4 and scored twice. Tyler Charboneau, Liam Datres de la Blotier and Andrew Serio each had a hit, and Hector DeJesus scored twice.

Matt Stiles hit a two-run double to help Denny’s Pantry walk off with a 8-7 win over Rotary Club in a Greenfield Minor League AAA Division game Friday night at Lunt Field in Greenfield

Denny’s entered the bottom of the sixth inning down 7-3 but rallied with five runs in the frame to win. Denny’s finished 12-1 overall and earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming playoffs.

Erik Martineau hit a two-run double in the sixth inning to aid the comeback. Caleb Johnston homered, and Dylan Breiwick doubled and singled. Aiden Shea added two hits.

Johnston, Martineau and Arther Fitzpatrick combined on a one-hitter in the win.

Jackson Glazier tripled for Rotary.

• In other action, Evan Tsipenyuk and Bobby Ellis each had two hits as Nap’s Auto Sales & Service outlasted Aubuchon Hardware, 8-5.

Mason Fiorey doubled in the win, while Jonathan Ainsworth, Malik Moore and Jayden Hunter each had a hit.

Ethan Mauthe tripled as part of a two-hit performance for Aubuchon. Ben Werner doubled, and Nico Siano had a hit.

Tyler Dubrieul had two hits and stole four bases, including a straight steal of home, to lead Hubie’s Tavern Diamond Dawgs to a 5-2 win over Dalton in a Pioneer Valley Youth Baseball League Sandy Koufax game Friday night at Mohawk Trail Regional High School in Buckland.

Cam Lococo tripled, singled and drove in a run, while Liam O’Donnell had one hit and two RBIs. Casey Hoffman and Connor Bobala each had a hit. O’Donnell earned the win with seven strikeouts in five innings, while Lococo struck out five in the final two innings to earn the save.

Adult softball

Greenfield Co-Rec

Alan Mailloux, Mitch Mailloux and Bree Richotte each went 3-for-5 with a home run and Smitty’s Pub dumped Taylor’s Tavern, 17-4, in a Greenfield Co-Rec Adult Softball League game Friday night at Hillside Park in Greenfield.

Eric Bastarache homered for Taylor’s, and Matt Weeden had two hits.

Greenfield Senior Open

Jim Ruschioni fired a 69 to win the 2018 Greenfield Senior Open Friday at the Country Club of Greenfield.

Hugh Barber and Wayne Wright tied for second at 72. Chris Demers won low net with a 62, and Matt Pitoniak was second with a 64.

Doug Riel won the Senior Flight with a 73, while Tim Brandl, Mike Johnson and Joe Whalen tied for second with a 76. Paul Barnard and Bob Bergeron finished as the top two net winners in the division with a 67.

Al Griffin won the Super Senior Flight with a 74, while Jeff Blomstedt and Carter Fasick tied for second with a 75. Scott Lyman won low net with a 65. Forbes Byron was second with a 66, and Jim Hawkins, Ed Pedruczny and Phil Phillips tied for third with a 67. 

John Gale won the Super Super Senior Flight with a 74, while Andy Piecuch was second with a 75. Ernie Patnode won low net with a 65, while Tom Rogers and John Walker tied for second with a 67.
