NORTHFIELD — Three historians from tribes indigenous to Massachusetts and Rhode Island will demonstrate traditional outdoor cooking techniques of the Wampanoag people, using local ingredients on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the pavilion behind the Northfield Town Hall (69 Main St.). Disposable bowls and napkins will not be provided, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own so they can sample the food. All attendees will be entered into a drawing for a pottery bowl donated by Tom White Pottery in Northfield.
