GREENFIELD — More than 1,200 Eversource customers were without power in the city Thursday afternoon.
According to Priscilla Ress, utility spokeswoman for Eversource, a short circuit happened when the company was upgrading its electric system with new equipment. Power was returned in about 10 minutes.
