SHELBURNE FALLS — In honor of Shelburne’s 250th anniversary year, The Footlights in the Falls community theater group is looking to produce Thornton Wilder’s famous three-act play “Our Town” sometime after the summer, and will hold auditions within the next few weeks in Shelburne Falls and in Greenfield.
“Our Town” is about the fictional small town Grover’s Corners, N.H., between 1901 to 1913, and the everyday lives of its residents.
Footlights in the Falls is looking for people of all ages, including some singers. This website describes the list of characters:

ASHFIELD — Inspired by Noah’s Ark (from the perspective of Noah’s wife) and other migration stories, “Wayward Home” is a musical folktale about a family forced to begin again. It will be performed Thursday and Friday, April 19 and 20, at 7 p.m. in the First Congregational Church of Ashfield, 429 Main St.
Through original music and fantastical storytelling, a trio of performers untangles a tale of love, loss and rebirth, delving into the question: How do we keep going when the world turns upside down? An international troupe of three actors play all the roles and accompany themselves on musical instruments and found objects such as bells, typewriters, and jars of water, live on-stage. The program is presented here by the Pauline Productions Theatre Co.
Advance tickets are $20, or $18 for students in advance, or $5 more at the door. To purchase them online, go to Brown Paper Tickets at: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3377256
