WHATELY — A jack-knifed tractor-trailer caused traffic to be diverted off Interstate 91 during the snowy morning Tuesday.
According to Massachusetts State Police, a tractor-trailer was jack-knifed on I-91 North just after Exit 24 at the Deerfield-Whately town line, causing a portion of the highway to be closed for more than a hour Tuesday morning.
Travelers on 91 North could see the tractor-trailer with its cab facing toward traffic just before the Routes 5 and 10 overpass, with several state police vehicles surrounding the vehicle and road flares leading up to the accident.

State police reported that no other vehicles were involved and that no injuries were reported.
As of 10:20 a.m., state police also reported that the accident would soon be cleared.
