Harry and Margaret Gove of 35 Vladish Avenue, Turners Falls, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 24, 1967 at the former Blessed Sacrament Church, Beacon Street, Greenfield, Mass. Monsignor Thomas Devine, President of Our Lady of Elms, Chicopee, Mass., celebrated. They spent a week at the Attean Lake Lodge, Jackman, Maine.
Mr. Gove recently retired from Stop & Shop Pharmacy as a registered Pharmacy Tech.
Mrs. Gove is currently employed as patient service representative at Valley Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine.
They enjoy many outdoor activities, and also travel to Maine beaches and Florida.
They have three children, Michael of Greenfield, Michelle (David) of Northfield, and Scott (Lisa) of Easthampton. They also have three grandchildren, Andrew, Olivia and Tanner.
They are going to be taking a cruise this Fall.
