5:06 p.m. — A caller at 35 Prospect St. believes her mail is being stolen. She was advised to contact the post office.
7:18 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred on the Applebee’s side of the Interstate 91 underpass between a gray 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer and a white 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan.
9:15 a.m. — A caller at Greenfield Acres on Congress Street, said she accidentally left her purse outside her building sometime between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Thursday night. A wallet, miscellaneous cards, a checkbook and her building keys were inside. The caller said she didn’t realize her purse was missing until Friday, even after the initial night when she waited for another tenant to let her into the building due to her lack of keys. The case remains under investigation.
10 a.m. — Police were called to Jack’s Cleaners on High Street for the report of an irate customer who refused to leave. The customer was dissatisfied with the business’ service, and spoke at length with the business owner about ways to remedy the problem. The customer left without issues after police arrived.
2:44 p.m. — Police arrested Desmond Wheeler, 20, homeless in Greenfield, on a warrant, near Big Y. The store had called the police to ask to move along those described in the police log as “panhandlers,” and then called the police again to notify them that the parties involved were swearing at customers and employees.
6:56 p.m. — Police arrested two people on several charges including possession of a Class A drug, following a traffic stop at the Mobil Gas station on Mohawk Trail. Samantha A. Snopek, 32, of Pray Drive, was arrested on charges of possession of a Class A and Class B drug. Matthew Feliciano, 27, of Holyoke, was arrested on charges of attaching plates to a motor vehicle, operating after license was revoked or the right to operating a vehicle was revoked, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and possession of a Class A drug.
9:27 a.m. — A caller at Lovers Lane reported a telephone wire down. Police contacted Verizon.
12:50 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred near Greenfield Savings Bank, located at 400 Main St., between a gray 2000 Toyota Tundra and a black 2008 Chrysler Aspen
4:15 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred near the Meadows Golf Course, located at 398 Deerfield St. A gray 1999 Honda Accord crashed into the median due to a mechanical failure, knocking over a stay right of the island sign.
6:12 p.m. — A caller at 220 Silver St. reported two bikes stolen off his or her porch. Though police recovered a black and green bike, a pink and black “Specialized” mountain bike remains missing.
12:41 a.m. — A caller reported driving behind a white Jeep whose driver he suspected was intoxicated. He noticed the man swerve into the other lane before pulling over at Leyden Road and Barton Road. The man then got out of his vehicle and confronted him, the caller claimed, saying he had a gun in his vehicle. Police responded and arrested Kyle M. Dobias, 33, of 73 Foundry Village Road in Colrain on charges of driving under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and possessing an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
4:24 p.m. — A traffic stop near 25 Barton Road resulted in the arrest of Oscar Marino Ramirez, 29, of 13 Quincy St. in Greenfield for possessing a Class A drug. Sam Michael St. Hilaire, 27, of 100 Main Road in Colrain was also issued a summons for driving with a suspended license. Ramirez’s bail was set at $5,000 plus a fee.
