WHATELY — The Whately Grange will host a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. in the Sandy Lane Town Office building.

All candidates on the upcoming June 13 Town Election ballot are invited to attend. “Townspeople will be able to ask questions, and the forum will be conducted by the town Moderator, Richard Smith.”

The candidates on this year’s ballot are as follows:

Justin Davis and Joyce Palmer Fortune are running against each other for one Selectboard seat; Barbara Banik is running for one open seat on the Board of Health; Richard Smith is seeking to keep his position as moderator; Maureen Nichols is bidding for an open chair on the School Committee; Melanie Chorak for one open Assessor position.

Elsewhere on the ballot, Sheila Powers is seeking one open seat as Library Trustee; Georgeanne Dufault as Water Commissioner; and Adelia Bardwell as Elector under Oliver Smith Will.

Refreshments will be served by members of the Whately Grange.
