LEYDEN — Incumbent Selectboard member William Glabach won re-election Saturday, earning 147 votes compared to challenger Nikolas Adamski, who received 40 votes, according to newly elected Town Clerk Nicole Glabach.
In the election’s second contest involving one available Planning Board seat, challenger Arthur Baker was elected over incumbent Peter Tusinski. Baker received 122 votes over Tusinski’s 66.
The other winners are: Town Clerk Nicole Glabach, with 174 votes; Moderator Katherine DiMatteo, with 173 votes; Robert DePalma, Board of Assessors, with 171 votes; Library Trustee Cornelia Reid, with 177 votes; Ellen White, Board of Health, with 174 votes; Constable Erik Johnson, with 180 votes; and Tree Warden David Brooks, with 180 votes.
According to Nicole Glabach, there were 191 votes cast. With 562 registered voters in Leyden, the voter turnout rate was 34 percent.
