11:52 p.m. – Police arrested Kristopher N. Quiles-Santiago, 23, on charges of committing his second offense of driving under the influence and with marked lane violations. The Oak Court, Greenfield resident was stopped on Wells and Allen Street.
11:04 a.m. — A caller at Green River Cemetery, at 256 Wisdom Way, reported a black hatchback with two people in it. The caller said he could smell alcohol and that one of the individuals urinated in the cemetery. Officers located the vehicle, a black 2013 Ford Focus, in a driveway on River Street, but there were no occupants.
4:10 p.m. — A minor accident without injuries occurred at the intersection of Deerfield and Washington streets involving a green 1969 Honda CB350 motorcycle.
5:35 p.m. — A minor accident without injuries occurred in the parking lot in front of Olympia Sports in the Big Y Plaza between a blue 2007 Honda Accord and a blue 2000 Toyota RAV4.
1:56 a.m. — A caller at Lincoln Street reported two younger males setting off fireworks in the area. Upon arrival, officers heard no fireworks, but found a boy walking out to the street, who eventually admitted he and his friend were setting off the fireworks. The officers confiscated the remaining fireworks and disposed of them.
2:26 a.m. — Following a reported overdose at Pine Ridge Estates, officers responded and administered the patient — who was initially unresponsive — three doses of Narcan. MedCare arrived and transported the patient to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
12:17 p.m. — A hit-and-run accident was reported at Domino’s Pizza, located on Federal Street. The involved vehicle, a blue 2014 Nissan Versa, had a dent to the right side front fender. The vehicle had been parked there since 9 a.m.
1:49 p.m. — A caller at Dollar General on Federal Street reported a shoplifter had just left the store and was heading north on Federal Street in a gray 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. An officer recovered the stolen items during a traffic stop, photographed them and returned the items to the store. The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Erin Millane, 37, of 33 Riverside Drive in Greenfield for shoplifting.
5:37 p.m. — A caller reported a woman wearing red pants and a gray sweatshirt in the lane of traffic at the intersection of Federal and Main streets, who appeared to be picking up debris in the roadway. The caller was concerned for her safety. The responding officer found the woman was concerned for worms on the sidewalk and was moving the worms onto grass. Advised to stay out of traffic.
1:39 p.m. — Multiple callers reported a tree down across the road at Green River Road and Eunice Williams Drive. The road was impassable, with the tree lying on wires. Eversource was advised, and the road was eventually cleared and reopened.
11:53 p.m. — Police served a warrant, arresting Jarrod L. Larhette, 30, of Mill Street. The charges came when Larhette was at CVS with others when an employee called the police to ask for them to be present since the people hanging out in the store had stolen before.
11:24 a.m. — Police served a warrant by the Salvation Army, arresting Maria Washington, 40, and homeless.
8:26 p.m. — Police served a warrant at Congress and Russell streets, arresting Anthony R. Price, 26, of Congress Street.
2:04 a.m. — Police arrested Springfield resident Rufus M. Thomas, 36, on Second Street. He was charged with a subsequent offense of possessing a Class B drug and with intent to distribute.
