BERNARDSTON — The Council on Aging is seeking candidates for the part-time position of outreach coordinator.
The outreach coordinator is responsible for making and maintaining contact with seniors and their caregivers to assess service needs and make appropriate referrals to services.
One to three years of experience in elder service is required, and having an associate’s degree is preferable. Pay for the position is $15.76 per hour.

BERNARDSTON — Town Coordinator Hugh Campbell announced during a Wednesday Board of Selectmen’s meeting that representatives from Construction Expert Consulting are coming to town to review the Burke Flat and Hoe Shop Road bridges.
Though Campbell is unsure of when the consultants will come, they will provide the town with cost estimates for remediating the two bridges to meet Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s expectations.
