Greenfield, April 7

10:14 a.m. — An accident without injuries occurred near Greenfield Town Hall, involving a white 2011 Ford Ranger, a white 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and a blue 2014 Toyota Corolla.

2:44 p.m. — A caller across the street from Solar Express on Federal Street reported finding drugs on the sidewalk. Police removed the unidentifiable tablet.

8:05 p.m. — A caller near the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Grove Street said he interrupted a man who was breaking into his vehicle, a red 2013 Dodge Dart, which was parked in his driveway. A gray 2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer was also found to be broken into. He described the individual as a white man, about 50 years old and five feet, six inches tall, thin and wearing a black coat. He reported the man left toward Conway Street. Officer Justin Purinton pursued the man on foot on Columbus Avenue, arresting Timothy Daniel Bourbeau, 48, of Washington Street in Greenfield. He was charged with two counts of breaking into a vehicle, two counts of larceny under $250 and possession of a burglarious instrument.

Greenfield, April 8

7:57 a.m. — A man at Call’s Corner Store on Conway Street, reported forgetting his wallet on the counter after a purchase. Approximately one hour later, he said, a woman returned the wallet saying she accidentally took it. All contents remained other than $50. A summons on the charge of larceny under $250 was issued.

10:19 a.m. — An accident without injuries occurred on Leyden Road between a blue 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, a black 2014 Chevrolet Impala and a black 2017 Toyota RAV4. The Chevrolet and Toyota were parked on the side of the road. The driver of the Hyundai swerved to avoid oncoming traffic while attempting to pass, colliding with the rear of the Chevrolet and pushing it into the Toyota. The driver was cited, and the Hyundai and Chevrolet were towed.

3:36 p.m. — A caller at 30 Robbins Road reported about six homeless men were attempting to camp on his posted property. The incident led to the arrest on a warrant of Jose Luis Rodriguez, 30, who is homeless in Greenfield.

4:25 p.m. — A caller at Tognarelli Heating & Cooling, located on Pierce Street, reported approximately 30 gallons of gas had been siphoned from one of the box trucks. No other vehicles were affected.
