Greenfield, Feb. 6

11:56 a.m. — Police received a report of malicious destruction of property at 374 Deerfield St., Greenfield Graphics and Printing. The report notes items knocked over and damage to a sign.

3:51 p.m. — Someone called police and said they’d found what appeared to be packets of heroin in Olympia Sports on Mohawk Trail. The packets were found near the store’s sneaker display. The person that reported the drugs wasn’t sure who’d dropped them. Police investigated and found packets where the caller said they’d be, called “Terror Squad.” The packets were destroyed.

7:35 p.m. — The town’s fire department was called for a reported mattress fire at Clinical and Support Options, 140 High St. A pumper truck was dispatched as a result.

Greenfield, Feb. 10

3:47 p.m. — The driver of a gray 2002 Honda Accord struck a mailbox before getting stuck in a snowbank on Lovers Lane. Byrne Towing was called to pull the vehicle out.

5:29 p.m. — A caller on Chapman Street claims the sidewalk there has not been shoveled in two years.

6:11 p.m. — Police seized 18 firearms from a house on Country Club Road.

10:28 p.m. — A caller reported a brown 1998 Buick Century was off the road near Stop & Shop, located at 89 French King Highway, and the male driver appeared to be sleeping or unconscious. Police and the fire department responded. The driver, a diabetic with low blood sugar, was taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center but incurred no injuries.

Greenfield, Feb. 11

2:20 a.m. — The driver of a brown 2000 Honda Accord was stuck in a snowbank near the intersection of Silver and Conway streets, leading to significant damage to the driver’s side. The car was towed by Koch’s Automotive.

8:56 a.m. — A caller at Mill House Apartments, located at 75 Wells St., said he was cleaning the sidewalks when plow number 4C came by twice at what he considered to be a high rate of speed, covering him and the sidewalk with snow. The complaint was passed on to the Department of Public Works’ Assistant Field Superintendent Mike Duclos.

1:42 p.m. — A caller at a house on Country Club Road claimed she was assaulted by her roommate after an argument concerning the roommate reportedly not paying her share of the household bills. She refused medical treatment, and no weapons were involved. The incident resulted in the arrest of Karen Neeley, 55, for assault and battery on a family/household member and intimidating a witness.
