NORTHFIELD — Tonight’s Pioneer Valley Regional School District budget hearing has been canceled because of the snowstorm.
According to Superintendent Ruth Miller, the School Committee will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in Pioneer Valley Regional School’s library and will pick a new date for the hearing, which has now been canceled twice due to weather.
The hearing will allow administrators and School Committee members to explain the cutbacks and increases involved in Pioneer’s proposed fiscal year 2018 budget of approximately $14.1 million, and allow residents to ask questions and share their opinions.
