GREENFIELD — Richard Brown, 65, of Grader Lane, who was struck by a car Wednesday evening, is in fair condition today at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Brown was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to the Springfield hospital after he was hit by a car, while walking in a crosswalk at Barr Avenue and Silver Street, at around 6 p.m.

He was struck by a Toyota Prius. The accident remains under investigation by Greenfield Police.
