COLRAIN — An online fundraiser has been started for the family of Jason Haskins of Colrain, whose family has been displaced by a Feb. 4 house fire that damaged their home.
Jason Haskins, a Greenfield police officer, suffered minor smoke inhalation as he helped other family members get out of the house. According to the Greenfield Police Department, Haskins has returned to work, and the family has found a temporary place to stay while repairs are underway at their home.
Kristie Timberlake, a friend of the family, has started a GoFundMe fundraiser for $5,000, to cover the family’s living costs while they are displaced from their home.
