NORTHFIELD — Due to inclement weather, tonight’s Pioneer Valley Regional School District budget hearing has been rescheduled.
According to Superintendent Ruth Miller, the hearing has been moved to Thursday at 7 p.m., and will be held in Pioneer Valley Regional School’s auditorium.
The hearing will allow administrators and School Committee members to explain the cutbacks and increases involved in Pioneer’s proposed fiscal year 2018 budget of approximately $14.1 million, and allow residents to ask questions and share their opinions.
The subsequent meeting where the School Committee will vote on whether to approve the budget — originally scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. — will be moved to Monday at 7 p.m.
