SOUTH DEERFIELD — A few major projects will come before the town’s Planning Board tonight.
At public hearings starting at 7 p.m. in the town office, in respective order, board members will continue looking over Cumberland Farms’ proposed new gas station at the corner of Routes 5 and 10.
Plans for the gas station are making their way through other town committees, including the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Conservation Commission.
Following, the board will continue a definitive site plan review for The Condominiums at Sugarloaf, an age 55-plus development at the base of Mount Sugarloaf. Most recently, the plans underwent a peer review.
Next before the board is a proposed medical marijuana dispensary on Greenfield Road, not far from Red Roof Inn, on the other side of the street. At meeting last month, the board also voted to send the dispensary’s plans for peer review.
Finally, R Levesque Associates Inc. will present plans on behalf of Salt City Inc. to build a 30,578-square-foot salt storage building on property owned by Pan-Am Southern, at 100 Railroad Yard Road.
Plans for all four projects can be reviewed ahead of time at the town office upon request. There will be a chance for residents to share thoughts during public comment before the hearings start.
