Mary and Henry Madden of Bernardston celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 11, 2016 at Terrazza Restaurant at Country Club of Greenfield. The party was hosted by their children Jennifer and Daniel Madden. The party was attended by family and friends including Mary’s brother Earl Albert and his wife Lesley, and Henry’s sister Margaret Kabaniec and niece Sandra Kabaniec.
Madden and the former Mary Keniston was married Nov. 30, 1956 in Greenfield.
Mrs. Madden retired from Deerfield Academy in 2002 and in past worked as an LPN at Farren Memorial and Franklin Medical hospitals.
Madden retired from Bete Fog Nozzle and previously worked at Lapierres Inc. as a master TV and radio technician.
The couple are the parents of Dr. Jennifer Madden of Amherst, N.H. and her children Oliver and Alex, and Daniel Madden and wife Karen of Franklin, MA and their children Evan and Lia.
