Orange, Jan. 10

7:37 a.m. — Woman reports that her car was entered and items are now missing.

12:30 p.m. — A vehicle rolled over onto someone’s property on Lake Mattawa Road. Vehicle was right by Dick’s Auto. Operator was given a verbal warning about operating too fast for road conditions. Property owner was advised on how to get the damages to his property corrected.

Greenfield, Jan. 11

7:03 a.m. — A Pioneer Valley Transit Authority bus slid into two vehicles due to an untreated parking lot at 10 Congress St. No injuries.

8 a.m. — A vehicle slid off Turners Falls Road due to glare ice conditions. No injuries. The road was closed until a sander arrived on scene at 8:24 a.m.

Greenfield, Jan. 13

3:40 a.m. — A caller in the woods behind Home Depot, located at 264 Mohawk Trail, claimed to have found six armless bodies in the woods. Police responded and found nothing, though the man continued to babble as if he was hallucinating, and police had him transported to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

8:53 a.m. — A caller at 178 Wells St. said she saw a suspicious black man in a blue jacket and green multi-colored pants climb through a window in the house behind hers. Police found the individual had entered through an unlocked window, and used a pallet leaning against the wall as steps to climb in. Police found the individual, a 13-year-old, hiding in the bathtub behind the shower curtain. His charges include breaking and entering, trespassing and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Greenfield, Jan. 14

2:19 a.m. — A caller near Thai Blue Ginger, located at 298 Main St., reported a fight in progress. Police responded, separated the parties and moved them along with sober rides.

3:04 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred between a black 2012 Toyota Highlander and a gray 2012 Honda Odyssey near the Stop & Shop gas station, located at 486 Bernardston Road. Both vehicles were exiting Route 2 onto Bernardston Road. The driver of the Highlander failed to stop and rear-ended the Odyssey, leading to minor damage.

Greenfield, Jan. 20

1:54 a.m. — A caller reported an active physical fight was happening in the McDonald’s parking lot near the drive-thru, located at 208 Mohawk Trail. The call was not as reported. A verbal road rage argument resulted from an incident at the rotary, with no physical altercation occurring. The drivers were moved along.

2:30 p.m. — An accident without injuries between a gray 2010 Honda Odyssey and a gray 2011 Honda Civic occurred at 86 Sanderson St.

7:50 p.m. — A caller at Smitty’s Pub, located at 26 Chapman St., reported damage to her vehicle, a black 2015 Honda CRV. A red 2002 Kia Sportage had parked up against her vehicle in a no parking zone. She believed the driver was intoxicated. The Kia was towed and police located the possible driver, who was intoxicated and left the pub in a cab.

Greenfield, Jan. 21

12:27 a.m. — From 12:27 a.m. to 12:51 a.m., police conducted bar checks on Smitty’s Pub, Taylor’s Tavern, The Red Door and The Root Cellar. All four passed the officers’ inspections.
