So many kudos to Javier Rivera for rolling up his sleeves and helping to make his town a better home for everyone.
He is right, if we are all willing to help out, we’ll be OK. His contribution is pretty inspiring. If we can all make small daily choices — putting our trash where it belongs, picking up after those who are less considerate, or best of all, choosing to live a less convenience and consumption-oriented “disposable” lifestyle — our towns will be more attractive and meaningful places.
